Major Awards
Woodchop exhibitors compete across a number of events, with the competition culminating in the presentation of the Grand Aggregate Trophy or 'Golden Axe'.
Grand Aggregate Trophy or Golden Axe
The Golden Axe perpetual trophy will be awarded to the competitor gaining the highest number of points across the Melbourne Royal Woodchop Championships.
Handicap Aggregate Trophy
The “Two Garrys” Handicap Aggregate Trophy will be awarded to the competitor who receives the most number of points in all open handicap events.
The ‘Tas Pickett’ Memorial Trophy
A teams race event with each team to comprise of seven competitors, including a captain.
