Judging for the Spring program of the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards (RMFFA), is well underway, with Eggs, Bread, Baked Goods, Ice-cream, Sorbet and Gelati, Dairy, Sheep, Goat and Buffalo products already judged.
This week sees the judges assess Branded Beef and Lamb, Delicatessen, then Preserves, and finally Olive Oils in August. Gold Medal winning Victorian products are in the running for selection in this year’s Royal Melbourne Fine Food Deli bags, a firm favourite at the Royal Melbourne Show in the Tastes of Victoria Pavilion.
New this year is the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards Buyers Tasting, an opportunity for trade to discover the very best products from the RMFFA, to be held at Melbourne Showgrounds on Thursday 28 August.
