The Royal Melbourne Dairy Show was held from Sunday 14 September to Tuesday 16 September at Melbourne Showgrounds.
With more than 400 dairy cattle entered for competition including Ayrshire, Holstein, Jersey, Guernsey, Illawarra and Brown Swiss breeds, the event celebrated quality and provided a platform for industry promotion.
This year’s event saw the increased adoption of technology from competitors with 63% of class entries made online compared to 29% last year. The use of tablets during judging will also increase to ensure efficiency of collating results.
