Global and national thought leaders to feature in line-up of speakers
The AgriVictoria State of Opportunity inaugural summit is being held on 11 June, 2015 and will bring together Victorian farmers, producers and industry professionals from across the food and fibre value chains.
The AgriVictoria summit is the first of its kind for the State and will feature a number of keynote speakers including ANZ Deputy Chief Executive, Graham Hodges, TPI Enterprises CEO, Jarrod Ritchie and Dairy Australia’s Program Manager Farm Business Management Capabilities, Neil Lane.
According to VFF President Peter Tuohey the summit will provide attendees with valuable insight into how Victorians can harness emerging global investment opportunities, as well as provide access to some of the industry’s most inspiring thought leaders.
“We have an incredible line up of industry professionals across multiple sectors including finance, investment and marketing. It’s shaping up to be a great event, one that anyone directly or indirectly working with the agribusiness sector in Victoria will benefit from,” said Peter.
The National Farmers Federation CEO Simon Talbot will MC the event. He is encouraging people to pre-purchase their tickets to avoid disappointment.
“Victorian farmers are pioneers in the country’s agricultural space and the agenda is reflective of this. It aims to help farmers become investment ready and to identify new market opportunities to ensure continued and sustained growth for Victoria,” said Simon.
“I understand interest has been high already. We are encouraging people to pre-book their tickets now, so they don’t miss out.”
According to Peter Tuohey, “Mr Talbot has a strong track record in FMCG, export food strategy and global markets and he is well placed to facilitate our inaugural summit.”
A full program will be announced shortly.
