Werribee Park National Equestrienne Centre - Measuring Days Update

Notice of Cancellation - Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action Measuring Days

In light of the recent notification from Equestrian Victoria of two cases of colitis in horses that visited Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre on 31 July, The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) has cancelled the scheduled measuring days.

RASV advises competitors that current Victorian Show Horse Council Height Certificates will be accepted for the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action program.

In addition, the measuring stand at the Show will be open for longer hours during the high peak times for those still requiring certification.

Reflecting this allowance, the following amendment has been made to the regulations for the 2016 Royal Melbourne Show.

34. Where a height is stipulated (excluding Section 2) Exhibitors must hold a current RASV Measuring Card, or RASV approved measuring Height Certificate.  If the Exhibit has not been issued with a current RASV Measuring Card, or approved measuring height certificate prior to Show, accredited measurers appointed by RASV will be in attendance during the Show.
